JCL Online Conference 2025

We’re pleased to announce this year’s JCL Online Conference!

It will be held on May 31st, from 9:15-15:15 via MS Teams. We are thrilled to announce that the conference will be opened by a world-famous lexicographer and ethymologist Susie Dent.  

The format will be a series of 5 talks, including our guest speaker, on a variety of talks linked to the motto Experiment, Explore, Express. Our amazing speakers will explore key aspects of language learning, from straightforward rules and theories to viewing the world through the lens of language and creating an effective learning space. 

As usual, after each talk there will be space for your questions or observations in a Q&A session. We have also scheduled a lunch break and we are very pleased that the conference and closing panel discussion will be led by Kara Magalhaes.  

We’re excited to be able to bring you our regular conference again this year, and we aim to offer topics that will include something useful and thought-provoking for teachers of all languages.

S radostí dáváme vědět, že 31. května od 9:15 do 15:15 se bude na platformě MS Teams konat 5. ročník JCL Online Conference. 

Velmi nás těší, že naši konferenci zahájí světoznámá lexikografka a etymoložka Susie Dent.

Letošní ročník se nese v duchu motta Experiment, Explore, Express - naši řečníci se budou věnovat klíčovým aspektům výuky jazyků – od jasných pravidel a teorií až po pohled na svět skrze jazyk a vytváření efektivního prostoru pro učení. 

Po každém příspěvku budete mít opět k dispozici prostor pro otázky a do plánování jsme samozřejmě nezapomněli zařadit přestávku na oběd. Konferenci uzavře panelová diskuze s účastníky. Celou konferencí i panelovou diskusí nás provede Kara Magalhaes. 

Konference bude probíhat v angličtině, věříme však, že si v ní na své přijdou lektoři jakéhokoliv jazyka.
